Getter / Setter generation

If you want to create a getter/setter for a property called Foo, do the following:

write Foo
press Ctrl+X to cut it to clipboard (no need to select the word)
press vgs<space> it will be expanded to a complete getter/setter

You can tweak the expansion in the preference dialog (F10, Languages -> PHP -> Keyboard Template -> Classes / Function

Adding Zend Framework support

PHPEdit supports almost all framework within Code Hint and Code Insight. You simply need to configure PHPEdit the right way.

To add support for Zend Framework:

Display the preference dialog (F10)
In Language -> PHP -> File dependencies, in the Include Path part, add the path to your ZF location, check the recursive checkbox, click on "Parse for cache", then Add.

You should now have all code hint and code completion for the framework.

Recursive Code Insight

PHPEdit can display Code Insight for code construct like this: $this->an_object->| you just need to document your code using @var as described in the example below.

Moving to Norway

We'll assist to eZ awards on thursday evening where wIT is nominated and I'll do a conference about an eZ publish case study on friday 11am.
